Unemployment rate data by state is now in place. Check out New York's unemployment rate or California's unemployment rate history for example. This isn't revolutionary information that I'm revealing (though I do hope it's a little more convenient). It's just a starting point for further exploration of state-level unemployment measures. The next step is to delve into the city-level data. I find there isn't as much easily obtained data at that level. Look for it soon.
I've also added a page with an overview of the unemployment situation. As I add more unemployment data to the site, this will serve as the main entry point with a high level overview and links into the more detailed data.
