<p>
The <a href="http://www.bls.gov/">BLS</a> reported that <strong>the unemployment rate for Cleveland rose 0.2 percentage points in June 2010 to 9.3%</strong>.  For the same month, the metro unemployment rate was 1.2 percentage points lower than the Ohio rate.

 The unemployment rate in Cleveland peaked in March 2010 at 11.0% and is now 0.5 percentage points lower.

 The number of people unemployed in Cleveland peaked in February 2010 at 112,409. There are now 11,321 fewer people unemployed in the metropolitan area. 
 From a recent trough of 95,723 in April 2010, the number of unemployed has now grown by 5,365.
