Compared to the <a href="http://www.deptofnumbers.com/income/us/">median US household income</a>, Vermont median household income is $2,274 higher.  2012 Census ACS data (including 2012  Vermont household income numbers) will be released in September of 2013.  <a href="#family">Vermont median family income</a> and <a href="#percap">per capita income for Vermont</a> are shown further down.</p>
