Idaho Job Growth

There were 634,900 jobs in Idaho in April 2013 according to the CES survey of employers. The CPS survey of households showed 724,059 employed persons for the month. Idaho added 700 jobs in April 2013 according to the CES survey while the broader CPS employment measure fell by 481 (Comparing CES and CPS employment numbers.). Total Employment in Idaho

CES employment peaked in June 2007 for Idaho at 657,500. Since then 22,600 jobs have been lost in Idaho according to the employer survey. From a trough of 600,900 in January 2010, Idaho has gained 34,000 jobs according to CES employment figures.

CPS employment in Idaho reached a maximum of 728,505 in December 2006. 4,446 jobs have been lost in Idaho since then according to the household survey. From a November 2009 low of 690,215, Idaho has added 33,844 jobs according to the CPS survey.
