Georgia Job Growth

There were 4,016,800 jobs in Georgia in April 2013 according to the CES survey of employers. The CPS survey of households showed 4,418,241 employed persons for the month. Georgia added 4,300 jobs in April 2013 according to the CES survey while the broader CPS employment measure rose by 3,256 (Comparing CES and CPS employment numbers.). CPS employment in Georgia reached a maximum of 4,608,041 in December 2007. 189,800 jobs have been lost in Georgia since then according to the household survey. From a December 2009 low of 4,218,266, Georgia has added 199,975 jobs according to the CPS survey.
